Job summary

Marston’s is looking for a Commis Chef to join our team in Beverley. Prep, create and bring our pub menu to life, with a passion for food and a willingness to learn new prepping skills and kitchen procedures.

You’ll be part of a fast-paced kitchen, supported by a friendly team, with opportunities to grow toward Sous Chef through our internal career pathway.

We value teamwork, delivering hot food to spec, and a lively, people-first environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar chef role or as KP.
• Willing to learn kitchen areas and procedures.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team.
• Support day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Passion to deliver great hot food to spec.

Responsibilities

• Prep and bring pub menu to life.
• Work with the kitchen team to run the service.

As Commis Chef:

There’s plenty to get involved with whilst growing your career and developing skills that you can take home.

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen
