Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Commis Chef to join our team in Bromsgrove. You’ll prep, create and bring our pub menu to life, learning new prepping skills and owning a section of the kitchen.

As Commis Chef you’ll work with a friendly kitchen team in a fast-paced environment, delivering great hot food to spec. We offer flexible and part-time hours, supportive career pathways, and benefits to help you grow with us.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role.
• Willingness to learn kitchen areas and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team.
• Support the kitchen with day-to-day running.
• Passion for delivering great hot food to spec.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent prep and cooking to spec.
• Assist in learning and applying kitchen procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen team in a fast-paced setting.
• Support day-to-day kitchen operations and cleanliness.
• Deliver hot, well-presented dishes to customers.

As Commis Chef:

There’s plenty to get involved with whilst growing your career and developing skills that you can take home.

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen
