Job summary

National Trust in the United Kingdom is seeking a Commercial Team Leader to supervise the daily operations of the café and shop, ensuring excellent customer service and well-presented displays. You’ll lead by example, support your team, and be involved in stock, product promotions and income targets.

Summary

We’re looking for a Commercial Team Leader to join us. You’ll be supervising the day-to-day operations of a property's commercial team within Food & Beverage and Retail.

Salary: £25,837.50 per annum

Contract Duration: Permanent

Working Pattern: You'll work 37.5 hours (5 out of 7 days) per week, including weekends and Bank Holidays. No evenings will be required.

What you'll be doing

As a Team Leader, you'll support and motivate your team to deliver great service in our busy café and shop, so you'll be adaptable and ready to get involved wherever needed.??

With a focus on front-of-house, you'll create a warm welcome for every visitor and lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service. Using your eye for detail, you'll ensure displays and signage are accurate and up to date, while occasionally supporting back-of-house activities.??

You'll help monitor stock levels, promote products and contribute to income targets that support the National Trust's conservation work. You'll also play an important role in welcoming, training and developing colleagues, helping to build a confident team.

We'll provide an induction, along with training in food safety and allergens. There are also opportunities to take part in further learning and development if you'd like to grow your skills.
