We are seeking a Commercial Procurement Manager to partner with stakeholders to influence the appropriate sourcing approach, drive third‑party commercial strategy, and ensure compliance with public procurement regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver compliant tenders (against Procurement Act 2024) from initiation to completion.
  • Identify key stakeholders in your category of spend and maintain effective communication.
  • Identify and mitigate project/tender risks, escalating where necessary.
  • Analyse market trends and data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and provide actionable decisions.
  • Develop and implement strategic category and sourcing plans that align with business goals.
  • Establish processes to navigate approval and governance routes, ensuring timely clearances.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to drive performance innovations and maintain strong relationships.
  • Prepare strategic presentations and reports for stakeholders, providing data‑driven insights.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Demonstrable experience managing regulated tenders and knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023.
  • Ability to deliver value from technology sourcing projects with limited competition.
  • Extensive knowledge of using Government frameworks for maximum value and agility.
  • Good general knowledge of technology trends and industry developments.
  • Project‑management skills enabling end‑to‑end delivery of procurement projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships at all levels.
  • Experience analysing data and applying market context to provide commercial insights.
  • Experience with procurement software and tools.
  • Proven background of successfully delivering cost optimisation.
  • Supplier / contract management experience fostering innovation.
  • Professional certification in procurement (e.g. CIPS, CPSM) (Desirable).
