Commercial Manager – Sponsorship (Conference Background)
Remote – UK
Base Up to £55,000 + OTE £100k
Key responsibilities:
- Sales strategy and operations: Review and implement structured sales strategies to support performance and scalability.
- Sales management: Achieve sales KPIs related to activity, revenue, and account management.
- Product conception and delivery: Represent clients in internal discussions to enhance product performance.
- Direct sales: Lead sales campaigns personally.
- Client management: Oversee key accounts and manage rebook meetings.
- Commercial analysis: Analyze vendor marketplaces, categorize companies, and research new leads.
- Sales marketing: Collaborate with production, content, and marketing teams to develop sales strategies using business intelligence.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 5+ years in a commercial role within B2B events/media, with high-value solution sales experience.
- Performance: Proven track record of meeting targets; high performer reputation.
- Product experience: Sales of live events, digital products like webinars/reports, and large B2B events including sponsorship and exhibition booths.
- Sales knowledge: Understanding of sales techniques and training experience is a plus.
- Strategy: Experience in developing and executing sales plans and contributing to business strategy.
