Commercial Manager – Sponsorship (Conference Background)
Remote – UK
Base Up to 55,000+ OTE £100k
Key responsibilities:
- Sales strategy and operations: Review and implement a structured sales strategy that supports sales performance and is reproducible across the sales team as the business grows.
- Sales management: Personally deliver on sales KPIs related to activity, revenue, and account management.
- Product conception and delivery: Represent clients in internal discussions to enhance the commercial performance of products.
- Direct sales: Lead sales campaigns personally.
- Client management: Manage key accounts and oversee rebook meetings.
- Commercial analysis: Analyze vendor marketplaces, categorize companies, and research new leads.
- Sales marketing: Collaborate with production, content, and marketing teams to develop and implement sales strategies leveraging business intelligence.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 5+ years in a commercial role at a B2B events/media business, with high-value B2B solution sales experience.
- Performance: Proven track record of meeting targets and recognized as a high performer.
- Product sales experience: Live events, digital products like webinars or reports, large B2B events, sponsorship, and exhibition booth sales.
- Sales knowledge: Understanding of sales techniques, training, and development experience is a plus.
- Strategy: Experience in building sales plans, contributing to business strategy.
