Commercial Manager – Sponsorship (Conference Background)
Remote – UK
Base Up to 55,000+ OTE £100k
Key responsibilities:
- Sales strategy and operations: To review and implement a structured sales strategy and approaches that support sales performance, and that is reproducible across a sales team as the business grows.
- Sales management: To personally deliver on sales KPIs related to sales activity, sales revenue, and account management.
- Product conception and delivery: To represent our clients in internal discussions, strengthening the commercial performance of our products.
- Direct sales: To personally lead sales campaigns.
- Client management: To manage or oversee management of key accounts and ensure objectives are documented and managed. Oversee client rebook meetings.
- Commercial analysis: To analyze vendor marketplaces, categorize companies, and research new sales leads.
- Sales marketing: To work with production, content, and marketing teams to design and implement a sales marketing strategy leveraging business intelligence.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 5+ years in a commercial role at a B2B events/media business, with experience in high-value B2B solution sales.
- Performance: Proven track record of hitting targets and perceived as a high performer.
- Product experience: Experience selling live events, digital products like webinars or reports, large B2B events, sponsorships, and exhibition booths.
- Sales knowledge: Understanding of sales techniques, training, and development.
- Strategy: Experience building and executing sales plans and contributing to business strategy.
