Commercial Manager – Sponsorship (Conference Background)
Remote – UK
Base Up to 55,000+ OTE £100k
Key responsibilities:
- Sales strategy and operations: To review and implement structured sales strategies that support sales performance and are reproducible across a growing sales team.
- Sales management: To personally meet sales KPIs related to activity, revenue, and account management.
- Product conception and delivery: To represent clients in internal discussions, enhancing product commercial performance.
- Direct sales: To lead sales campaigns personally.
- Client management: To oversee key accounts and manage client objectives and rebook meetings.
- Commercial analysis: To analyze vendor marketplaces, categorize companies, and research new leads.
- Sales marketing: To collaborate with production, content, and marketing teams to develop and implement sales strategies leveraging team-generated intelligence.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 5+ years in a commercial role at a B2B events/media company, with high-value B2B solution sales experience.
- Performance: Proven track record of meeting targets and high performance in previous roles.
- Product sales experience: Selling live events, digital products, sponsorships, and exhibition booths.
- Sales knowledge: Understanding of sales techniques and experience in training sales teams.
- Strategy: Experience in planning and executing sales strategies and contributing to business strategy.
