Commercial Manager – Sponsorship (Conference Background)

Remote – UK

Base Up to 55,000+ OTE £100k

Key responsibilities:

  • Sales strategy and operations: Review and implement structured sales strategies that support performance and are scalable across the team.
  • Sales management: Achieve sales KPIs related to activity, revenue, and account management.
  • Product conception and delivery: Represent clients internally to enhance product performance.
  • Direct sales: Lead sales campaigns personally.
  • Client management: Oversee key account management, ensuring objectives are met and rebook meetings are managed.
  • Commercial analysis: Analyze marketplaces, categorize companies, and research new leads.
  • Sales marketing: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sales strategies using business intelligence.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 5+ years in a commercial role within B2B events/media, with high-value solution sales experience.
  • Performance: Proven track record of meeting targets and recognized as a high performer.
  • Product experience: Experience selling live events, digital products, sponsorships, and exhibition booths.
  • Sales knowledge: Understanding of sales techniques, training, and development experience is a plus.
  • Strategy: Experience in planning, delivering sales plans, and contributing to business strategy.
