Commercial Manager – Sponsorship (Conference Background)

Remote – UK

Base Up to 55,000+ OTE £100k

Key responsibilities:

  • Sales strategy and operations: To review and implement a structured sales strategy supporting sales performance and reproducibility across the team as the business grows.
  • Sales management: To personally deliver on sales KPIs related to activity, revenue, and account management.
  • Product conception and delivery: To represent clients in internal discussions, enhancing product performance.
  • Direct sales: To lead sales campaigns.
  • Client management: To oversee key accounts, ensuring objectives are met, including rebook meetings.
  • Commercial analysis: To analyze marketplaces, categorize companies, and research leads.
  • Sales marketing: To collaborate with marketing to develop strategies leveraging team-generated business intelligence.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 5+ years in a commercial role at a B2B events/media business, with high-value solution sales experience.
  • Performance: Proven track record of meeting targets and recognized as a high performer.
  • Product experience: Sales experience in live events, digital products, sponsorship, and exhibition booths.
  • Sales knowledge: Understanding of sales techniques, training, and development experience is a plus.
  • Strategy: Experience in planning and contributing to business and product strategies.
