Commercial Manager – Sponsorship (Conference Background)
Remote – UK
Base Up to 55,000+ OTE £100k
Key responsibilities:
- Sales strategy and operations: Review and implement structured sales strategies that support performance and are scalable across the sales team as the business expands.
- Sales management: Achieve sales KPIs related to activity, revenue, and account management.
- Product conception and delivery: Represent clients internally to enhance the commercial success of products.
- Direct sales: Lead sales campaigns personally.
- Client management: Oversee key accounts, ensuring objectives are documented and met, including managing rebook meetings.
- Commercial analysis: Analyze marketplaces, categorize companies, and research new leads.
- Sales marketing: Collaborate with production, content, and marketing teams to develop and implement sales strategies leveraging team intelligence.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 5+ years in a commercial role within B2B events/media, with high-value B2B solution sales experience.
- Performance: Proven track record of meeting targets and recognized as a high performer.
- Product experience: Experience selling live events, digital products, sponsorships, and exhibition booths.
- Sales skills: Knowledge of sales techniques, with experience in training sales teams a plus.
- Strategic planning: Experience in building and executing sales plans and contributing to business strategy.
