Commercial Manager – Sponsorship (Conference Background)
Remote – UK
Base Up to 55,000+ OTE £100k
Key responsibilities:
- Sales strategy and operations: To review and implement a structured sales strategy that supports sales performance and is reproducible across a growing sales team.
- Sales management: To personally achieve sales KPIs related to activity, revenue, and account management.
- Product conception and delivery: To represent clients in internal discussions to enhance product performance.
- Direct sales: To lead sales campaigns.
- Client management: To oversee key account management and client rebook meetings.
- Commercial analysis: To analyze vendor marketplaces, categorize companies, and research new leads.
- Sales marketing: To collaborate with production, content, and marketing teams to develop and implement sales strategies leveraging team-generated intelligence.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 5+ years in a commercial role within B2B events/media, with high-value solution sales experience.
- Performance: Proven track record of meeting targets and recognized as a high performer.
- Product experience: Experience selling live events, webinars, reports, sponsorships, and exhibition booths.
- Sales knowledge: Understanding sales techniques and experience in training sales teams is a plus.
- Strategy: Experience in developing sales plans and contributing to business strategy.
