Commercial Head of Legal with background in Data Centres / Real Estate - In House

We're looking for an interim Head of Legal to support our client for 9 - 12 months. Prior experience managing a legal team with a background in data centres, real estate or industrial / manufacturing is key.

This will be a maternity cover, starting as soon as possible. Your role will include :

  • Overseeing the legal function across the EMEA region independently
  • Acting as Head of Legal to support new data centre construction projects working alongside a senior construction lawyer
  • Working on general commercial matters
  • Supporting land acquisition projects and negotiation of land purchase agreements
  • Facility management service contracts
  • Supporting in-house paralegal and delegating work
  • Managing external legal spend

Ideally, you'll have a strong background managing a small (or larger) legal team Previous experience in data centres would be beneficial although a background in real estate, industrials, or manufacturing will also be considered.

This assignment will be full-time, starting as soon as possible, and is expected torun for 9 - 12 months.
