Commercial Debt Recovery Solicitor | 1+ PQE | Chester

A growing national practice with a strong reputation for debt recovery and commercial litigation is expanding its Chester office following continued client demand. The firm has an established network across the South East and is now investing in the North West to meet increasing instructions from major insurers, utilities, and commercial clients.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing commercial recoveries work: Acting for major insurers, utilities, and corporate creditors on high‑volume and complex debt recovery matters, including pre‑legal recoveries, litigation, and enforcement.
• Supporting related litigation and insolvency work: Handling associated insolvency and estate recovery matters linked to commercial debt cases, providing a varied and engaging caseload.
• Delivering practical, commercial advice: Advising clients on risk, recovery options, and settlement strategies, balancing legal precision with cost‑effective outcomes.
• Working collaboratively: Joining a small but growing Chester‑based team with strong partner involvement, supported by experienced colleagues in other regional offices.
• Contributing to expansion: Helping to build on a successful platform and establish the Chester office as a key regional hub for debt recovery and commercial dispute work.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 1 year's PQE in commercial litigation or debt recovery
• Experience handling recoveries, enforcement, or insurance‑related disputes
• Confident managing files with autonomy and communicating effectively with clients
• Practical, commercially minded, and motivated to develop within a supportive, growing team
