Job summary

HVAC Total FM Recruitment in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Commercial Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing facilities management team. The role covers PPM and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites, with a permanent contract, a company van with private use, fuel card, and a comprehensive benefits package including private healthcare and pension.

You will diagnose faults, service and repair HVAC systems and contribute to service excellence.

Qualifications

Experience as Commercial Air Conditioning or HVAC Engineer.
Strong experience in PPM and reactive maintenance.
Able to fault find, diagnose and repair efficiently.
Good knowledge of commercial AC systems.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Full UK driving licence and compliance with health & safety.
F-Gas Category 1 qualification.

Responsibilities

Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.
Diagnose faults and complete repairs.
Service and maintain commercial air conditioning equipment.
Complete minor installation, replacement and remedial works.
Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding.
Complete service reports and job records using digital systems.
Ensure all work complies with F-Gas and Health & Safety requirements.
Identify additional remedial works where appropriate.
Provide a professional service to customers and clients.
Manage workload and work independently across sites.

Salary: £42,000
Location: Glasgow
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Contract: Permanent

About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Air Conditioning Engineer / HVAC Engineer to join an established and growing Facilities Management and Building Services business.

You’ll be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, servicing, repairs and fault finding across a varied portfolio of commercial sites.

The Role

About You

Previous experience as a Commercial Air Conditioning Engineer, AC Engineer or HVAC Engineer.
Strong experience in PPM and reactive maintenance.
Confident carrying out fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
Good knowledge of commercial air conditioning systems.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
Full UK Driving Licence.
F-Gas Category 1 qualification.
