HVAC Total FM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Air Conditioning Engineer to join a facilities management team in Chester. You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, diagnose faults, and complete service reports using digital systems.

This permanent role includes a company van, private use, 25 days holiday, healthcare, pension and ongoing training. Requirements include F-Gas Category 1, full UK driving licence, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

Proven experience as Commercial Air Conditioning/HVAC Engineer.
Extensive PPM and reactive maintenance experience.
Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on commercial systems.
Valid UK driving licence and F-Gas Cat 1 certification.

Responsibilities

Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.
Diagnose faults and perform effective repairs.
Service and maintain air conditioning equipment.
Complete minor installation and remedial works.
Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
Submit service reports using digital systems.
Ensure work complies with F-Gas and Health & Safety.
Identify additional remedial works as needed.
Provide professional service to customers.
Manage workload and work independently across sites.

Commercial Air Conditioning Engineer

Salary: £42,000
Location: Chester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Contract: Permanent

About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Air Conditioning Engineer / HVAC Engineer to join an established and growing Facilities Management and Building Services business.

You’ll be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, servicing, repairs and fault finding across a varied portfolio of commercial sites.

The Role

Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial air conditioning and HVAC systems.
Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs.
Service and maintain commercial air conditioning equipment.
Complete minor installation, replacement and remedial works.
Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding.
Complete service reports and job records using digital systems.
Ensure all work is completed in line with F-Gas and Health & Safety requirements.
Identify additional remedial works where appropriate.
Provide a professional service to customers and clients.
Manage your own workload and work independently across customer sites.

About You

Previous experience as a Commercial Air Conditioning Engineer, AC Engineer or HVAC Engineer.
Strong experience in PPM and reactive maintenance.
Confident carrying out fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
Good knowledge of commercial air conditioning systems.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
Full UK Driving Licence.
F-Gas Category 1 qualification.
