Job summary

Rock Recruitment is seeking experienced Air Conditioning Engineers to cover the North West. You will perform PPM, repairs and installations on commercial sites, ensuring safe, efficient operation across VRF, DX cooling and split systems. A company vehicle, private use, pension and training support are included, with overtime at enhanced rates.

The role requires NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, F-Gas, and full UK driving licence, with travel across the North West."

Qualifications

• NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent.
• Valid F-Gas qualification.
• Proven experience with commercial air conditioning systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial air conditioning systems.
• Diagnose faults and undertake breakdown repairs efficiently.
• Install, maintain and repair a variety of commercial cooling and air conditioning systems.
• Work confidently with VRF systems, DX cooling and split systems.
• Carry out fault-finding and identify opportunities to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Undertake inspections and ensure all equipment is operating safely and effectively.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements and industry regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service when working on client sites.
• Travel to commercial sites throughout the North West as required.

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for experienced Air Conditioning Engineers to join a growing team covering the North West. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with strong commercial experience who are confident working across a range of air conditioning and cooling systems.

The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), breakdown repairs and installations across commercial sites, ensuring systems operate safely, efficiently and reliably.

Requirements

• Relevant NVQ qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent.
• Valid F-Gas qualification.
• Proven experience working on commercial air conditioning systems.
• Strong knowledge of VRF systems, DX cooling and split systems.
• Experience in PPM, breakdowns and installations.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A professional approach with strong communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

• Knowledge and experience of Air Handling Units (AHUs).
• Additional relevant industry qualifications and manufacturer training.
