Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Maintain and repair split air conditioning systems.
• Work on VRV/VRF systems and chillers.
• Maintain air handling units and related plant.
• Identify faults and detail required remedial works.
• Complete maintenance records and refrigerant documentation.
• Ensure refrigerants are handled and transported safely.
• Collaborate with site contacts and customers.
• Follow health and safety procedures.

Air Conditioning Engineer - Glasgow

We are recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join an established Facilities Management provider in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in commercial air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance, working across a range of building services equipment.

The Role

You'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and repairing split air conditioning systems.

• Working on VRV/VRF systems and chillers.

• Carrying out maintenance on air handling units and associated plant.

• Identifying faults and providing details of required remedial works.

• Completing maintenance records and refrigerant documentation.

• Ensuring refrigerants are handled and transported safely.

• Working closely with site contacts and customers.

• Following health and safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Experience maintaining commercial air conditioning systems.

• Knowledge of split systems and VRV/VRF equipment.

• Experience working with chillers.

• Relevant refrigeration or air conditioning qualifications.

• Safe refrigerant handling certification.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Good fault-finding and communication skills.

• Willingness to participate in a call-out rota.

Experience with centrifugal chillers and Building Management Systems would be advantageous.
