HVAC Total FM Recruitment is seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer to join a mobile service team covering commercial sites across the North and Midlands. The role offers a £42,500 base salary plus door-to-door travel, a company van, and overtime rates.

You'll perform service, maintenance and fault finding on VRV/VRF systems, with flexible start times and a 40-hour week. A full UK driving licence is essential and union benefits apply.

Qualifications

• F-Gas Category 1 is required.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and repair of commercial air conditioning systems.
• Planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Fault finding and diagnostics on splits, multi-splits and VRV/VRF systems.
• Carrying out F-Gas inspections and compliance checks.
• Completing minor installations and site surveys where required.
• Identifying faults and completing repairs and remedial works.
• Completing job reports and paperwork accurately.
• Liaising with clients and subcontractors on site.

Air Conditioning Engineer

Location: North / Midlands – Mobile
Salary: £42,500 + Door-to-Door Travel
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours
Contract: Permanent
Call-Out: Approx. 1 in 8

We're recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing mobile engineering team, covering commercial sites across the North and Midlands.

This is a service and maintenance-focused position offering £42,500 basic plus door-to-door travel, a company van and strong overtime rates. There's also plenty of flexibility around working hours, with additional weekend and night work available if wanted.

The Role

As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Service, maintenance and repair of commercial air conditioning systems
• Planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
• Fault finding and diagnostics on splits, multi-splits and VRV/VRF systems
• Carrying out F-Gas inspections and compliance checks
• Completing minor installations and site surveys where required
• Identifying faults and completing repairs and remedial works
• Completing job reports and paperwork accurately
• Liaising with clients and subcontractors on site
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations

What We're Looking For

• F-Gas Category 1
• Relevant Air Conditioning / HVAC qualification
• Previous commercial service and maintenance experience
• Strong fault-finding skills across splits and VRV/VRF systems
• Comfortable working independently across a mobile patch
• Good client-facing and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence

Salary & Benefits

• £42,500 basic salary
