The Role

We are looking for a Cold Store Operative to join our UK Leaf Farming team. This role is key to operating the intake, cooling, labelling, and dispatch of salad crops, ensuring they are processed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Offload harvest trailers and load Arctic lorries with salad crops using a forklift.
• Operate the vacuum cooler to chill salad crops.
• Weigh and label salad crops accurately.
• Process daily orders as instructed by the Harvest Supervisor.
• Carry out daily checks on equipment in line with operating procedures.
• Assist with general farm duties during quieter periods, including weeding, cleaning, and strimming.

Working Conditions

• Farm-based role, working inside the cold store and outdoors when required.
• Physically demanding tasks requiring strength and stamina.
