Job summary

Workforce Staffing Ltd in Weymouth is seeking an experienced CNC Turner / Programmer, Setter & Operator to take jobs from drawing to finished components.

Essential duties include programming, setting and operating CNC lathes, reading engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances. Fanuc or Mazatrol experience is essential; C+Y axis and driven tooling are advantageous. The role offers flexitime, 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, on-site parking and a strong overtime structure.

CNC Turner – Programmer, Setter & Operator

Location: Weymouth, Dorset

Salary: £18-£22ph (£38,000-£44,500)

Hours: Flexitime (Core is 7:30am-4:00pm Mon-Thurs, 7:30-1:00pm Fri)

The business operates modern CNC machining facilities and is AS9100 accredited, with a strong focus on quality, precision and reliable delivery. Its CNC turning capability includes 3 and 4-axis machines with C + Y axis functionality and driven tooling.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner / Programmer, Setter & Operator who can independently take jobs from drawing through to finished component.

Key Requirements

• Fanuc or Mazatrol experience – essential
• Ability to programme, set and operate independently – essential
• Strong CNC turning experience
• Comfortable reading engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances
• C + Y axis experience highly desirable
• Experience with driven tooling advantageous
• Ability to run multiple machines where possible
• Self-motivated with a strong focus on quality and productivity
