Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Storrington is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to perform high quantity production and project work. This role involves operating CNC machines, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safety practices. Ideal candidates have experience with FANUC and other CNC systems. Qualifications

  • Knowledge in one or all languages, FANUC, HEIDENDAIN and MAZATROL.
  • Experience of 3, 4 or 5 Axis Machining operations.
  • An understanding of setups and work holding techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Set and operate CNC Machines including programme editing.
  • Ensure all equipment & tooling is functioning to achieve required results.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safe working practices.

Skills

Job description
Job Overview

To safely and sustainably machine high quantity production work and low volume project work by achieving a specified level of output in terms of time, quality and cost standards in the build/test of Tesla's products.

Responsibilities
  • Set and operate CNC Machines including programme editing when required under the guidance of the Production Engineer.
  • Ensure all equipment & tooling is functioning to achieve the required results for the operations undertaken.
  • Ensure that all work produced meets the specified level of quality.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safe working practices in the section having due regard to the Company's Health & Safety policy.
  • Ensure that accurate and timely booking procedures are maintained with SEIKI AIR and that all the relevant production documentation/records are processed correctly.
  • Inform the Department Cell Leader of any relevant problems which could affect the achievement of the required output, with recommendations as to their solution.
  • Carry out any other reasonable task that is required by the Company.
Qualifications & Skills

Shift Pattern

Night Shift – Monday‑Thursday 5:30 p.m. – 4:00 a.m. (40 hours per week)
