Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled CNC Miller / Setter-Operator for our Northampton team. You will set up and run Fanuc-controlled milling machines, read engineering drawings, select tooling and ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

Training is provided for the right candidate, with opportunities to develop CNC programming skills and progress within the business. The role offers a competitive salary and a stable full-time position.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines is essential.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls is highly desirable.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings to spec.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Programming experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Keen to learn, develop and take on more responsibilities.

CNC Miller / Setter-Operator (Fanuc Controlled Machines)

Location: Northampto, Warwickshire

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

The Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Miller / Setter-Operator to join our team in Northampton. The ideal candidate will have experience setting and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC milling machines, with programming experience being a bonus.

We are happy to consider someone with strong setting and operating skills who is keen to develop their programming knowledge, as full training will be provided for the right person.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
