Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is partnering with a leading precision engineering business in Northamptonshire to recruit an experienced CNC Miller, Setter and Programmer. The role focuses on setting, operating and programming 5-axis DMG Mori machining centres with Siemens controls on small batches of complex components.

You will read engineering drawings, work to tight tolerances, and contribute to quality and delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as CNC Miller, Setter & Programmer.
• Experience with CNC milling and programming.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set, operate and programme 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Offline programming using Siemens CAD/CAM software.
• Manufacture small batches of complex precision components.
• Operate 5-axis DMG Mori machining centres with Siemens controls.

Salary

£38,000 - £42,000 (38-hour week)

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire

Hours

Hours: Monday to Thursday 6:00am - 2:30pm/3:30pm, Friday 6:00am - 12:00pm

The Role

The Role Set, operate and programme 5-axis CNC milling machines Offline programming using Siemens CAD/CAM software Manufacture small batches of complex precision components Work to tight tolerances and high quality standards Operate DMG Mori 5-axis machining centres with Siemens controls Play a key role within a busy and growing machining department

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years\' experience as a CNC Miller, Setter & Programmer
• Strong experience with CNC milling and programming
• Experience with Siemens or Fanuc controls
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
• High attention to detail and quality
• Self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude
