Job summary

Gi Group UK is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to program, set and operate Fanuc-controlled milling machines to produce high-quality components for diverse industries.

The role runs 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime: time and a half after 40 hours (Mon-Sat) and double pay on Sundays. 25 days holiday, pension, and annual reviews accompany a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator
• Ability to program and set Fanuc controlled milling machines
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience machining steel, aluminium, cast iron and other metals
• Reliable, accurate and quality focused

CNC Miller - Programmer / Setter / Operator

Salary: £35,000-£36,000 + overtime Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday-Friday)

We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join our growing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone confident in programming, setting and operating Fanuc controlled turning machines, producing high quality components for a wide range of industries.

What You'll Be Doing

• CNC milling, programming and setting using Fanuc controls
• Producing bearing housings, custom one off parts and prototype components
• Working with steel, aluminium, cast iron, and other materials
• Supporting general workshop tasks when required
• Ensuring all work meets quality and accuracy standards

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience as a CNC Miller Programmer/Setter
• Confident programming and setting Fanuc controlled machines
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience machining a variety of metals
• Reliable, accurate and quality focused

Pay & Overtime

• £35,000-£36,000 basic salary
• Time & a half Monday-Saturday after 40 hours
• Double pay on Sundays
