A precision engineering company in Ilkeston is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist (Programmer or Setter) for a permanent role. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and setting CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts. You will work in a highly automated environment with a supportive engineering team, and flexible working hours are offered. A time-served apprenticeship or equivalent experience is preferred, alongside strong capabilities in CNC programming and milling or turning operations.

As a CNC Machinist (Programmer or Setter), you will be responsible for programming and/or setting CNC machines (mills or lathes) producing precision machined parts and components across CNC milling and/or turning platforms. This role is suited to a skilled CNC machinist with experience in either programming (online or offline) or setting, who enjoys hands‑on programming/set work and is looking to work in a technically capable environment where skills are genuinely valued.
Time‑served apprenticeship or equivalent CNC machining experience preferred.
