Optical Precision in Basildon is seeking a CMM Quality Inspector to join their precision aerospace machined components production facility. You will inspect precision engineered components and perform first off and final inspections using CMM and other inspection tools.

The role requires experience with inspection measurement equipment, knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001, and the ability to carry out first article reporting and root cause analyses with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience using inspection measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of inspection measurement equipment.
• Good understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements.
• First article inspection reporting.
• Root cause analysis and resolution, including rework of parts.
• Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision.
• Good communications and computer literacy.

A well established manufacturer of high quality precision aerospace machined components are looking for an experienced CMM Quality Inspector to join their team. The company provide precision parts to a wide range of industries including aerospace and automotive in their modern and fast paced machining facility.

The Role - CMM Quality Inspector

As a successful quality inspector, you will be required to inspect precision engineered components.

Duties - CMM Quality Inspector

• First off inspection and final inspection in a subcontract machining environment
• Using inspection measurement equipment such as Micrometres, Verniers, Gauges
• First article inspection reporting
• CMM Operating

Requirements - CMM Quality inspector

• Experience using inspection measurement equipment
• A knowledge of inspection measurement equipment.
• Good understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements
• First article inspection reporting
• Root cause analysis and resolution, including rework of parts.
• Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision.
• Good communications and computer literacy.
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Subcontract machining environment experience

Hours of Work - CMM Quality Inspector

Monday - Thursday 08.00 am - 16.30 pm

Friday 08.00am - 12.30pm

Salary -

£18.00 - £20.00 Per Hour
