Job summary

Optical Precision in Ickenham is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their CNC team. You will inspect precision engineered components and perform first article and final inspections in a subcontract machining environment.

The role requires experience with inspection measurement equipment, familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards, and strong communication and computer literacy. Excel proficiency and a proactive, initiative-driven mindset are important.

A well established manufacturer of high quality precision aerospace machined components are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team. The company provide precision parts to a wide range of industries including aerospace and F1 in their modern state of the art machining facility.

The role of a Quality inspector - CNC

As a successful quality inspector, you will be required to inspect precision engineered components.

Duties of a Quality inspector - CNC

• First off inspection and final inspection in a subcontract machining environment
• Using inspection measurement equipment such as Micrometres, Verniers, Gauges
• First article inspection reporting

Requirements of a Quality inspector - CNC

• Experience using inspection measurement equipment
• A knowledge of inspection measurement equipment.
• Good understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements
• First article inspection reporting
• Root cause analysis and resolution, including rework of parts.
• Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision.
• Good communications and computer literacy.
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Subcontract machining environment experience

Hours of Work - Quality Inspector - CNC

Monday - Thursday 07.00am - 15.00 pm / Early Finish Fridays

Salary -

£36,000 - £38,000 Per Year Overtime and benefits
