Job summary

Optical Precision in Ickenham is seeking a Quality Inspector - CNC to join their precision machining team. You will perform first off and final inspections on aerospace and related components, using micrometers, verniers, and gauges.

You should have experience with inspection equipment, understand AS9100 and ISO 9001, and be capable of first article reporting and root cause analysis. The role is on-site with overtime and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience using inspection measurement equipment.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and computer literacy.
• Understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Ability to perform first article inspection reporting.
• Experience in subcontract machining environments.

A well established manufacturer of high quality precision aerospace machined components are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team. The company provide precision parts to a wide range of industries including aerospace and F1 in their modern state of the art machining facility.

The role of a Quality inspector - CNC

As a successful quality inspector, you will be required to inspect precision engineered components.

Duties of a Quality inspector - CNC

• First off inspection and final inspection in a subcontract machining environment
• Using inspection measurement equipment such as Micrometres, Verniers, Gauges
• First article inspection reporting

Requirements of a Quality inspector - CNC

• Experience using inspection measurement equipment
• A knowledge of inspection measurement equipment.
• Good understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements
• First article inspection reporting
• Root cause analysis and resolution, including rework of parts.
• Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision.
• Good communications and computer literacy.
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Subcontract machining environment experience

Hours of Work - Quality Inspector - CNC

Monday - Thursday 07.00am - 15.00 pm / Early Finish Fridays

Salary -

£36,000 - £38,000 Per Year
