Job summary

Actio Recruitment is seeking a CMM Quality Inspector for a permanent, dayshift role in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. You will perform quality inspections on precision components using CMM equipment and software, ensuring dimensional accuracy and conformance to drawings.

The ideal candidate has hands-on CMM experience, strong attention to detail, and can read engineering drawings. Overtime is paid at time and a third, with a competitive hourly rate up to £20.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quality Inspector in precision engineering/manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with CMM equipment and CMM inspection software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality inspections on precision-engineered components using CMM equipment.
• Operate CMM inspection software to measure and verify component dimensions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Use precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges).
• Identify and report non-conformances and quality issues.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

An established precision engineering manufacturer is looking for an experienced CMM Quality Inspector to join their team in Mansfield.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out quality inspections on precision-engineered components using CMM equipment.
