Job summary

Back To Work in the North East is seeking an IT Apprentice to support IT operations and drive adoption of Microsoft 365 services across the organization. You will help migrate data to OneDrive and SharePoint while collaborating with IS/IT teams and external partners.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, eager to develop a career in IT, and able to work well in a team. This role offers hands-on training and exposure to real-world IT projects in a manufacturing context.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Interest in pursuing a career in IT.
• Ability to work across teams and with IT department.
• Self-motivated and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships across the user base and with IS/IT colleagues.
• Assist with operational management of IT Infrastructure.
• Drive adoption of M365 and help migrate data to OneDrive and SharePoint as appropriate.
• Collaborate with 3rd parties and IS/IT colleagues on complex projects including migration of on-premise systems to AWS and Private Cloud infrastructure.
• Assist with project delivery for the company.
• Liaise with 3rd party providers for V/C, telecoms and infrastructure support.
• Create documentation to assist users with IS/IT adoption and work with Knowledge team to disseminate information to end users.
• Become a subject matter expert for SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Monitor incident and request queues and identify trends and problems.
