Telent's Network Services division is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our Engineering team based in Dartford. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a team of Cloud, Network, and Security experts, supporting your growth and development in challenging projects.

The Cloud Infrastructure Specialist will develop and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing proactive service and ensuring high customer satisfaction. You will act as a bridge between engineering and service teams, supporting service delivery, projects, and helpdesk functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Train internal staff and customers on products and solutions.
  • Support professional services and sales opportunities within Network Services.
  • Monitor customer incidents and report on nominated accounts.
  • Identify trends, security threats, or technical issues affecting customers.
  • Manage documentation related to customer platforms and Telent Cloud Services.
  • Follow internal processes for tasks, reporting, and change management.
  • Assist with PoC scenarios, Type Approval activities, and lab testing.
  • Create technical documentation such as TA, POC, RFC, WI, and SoW.
  • Review engineering documentation peer-to-peer.
  • Lead or assist in pre-staging equipment for customer sites.
  • Participate in customer meetings, reviews, and incident assessments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of timesheets and expenses.
  • Maintain certifications aligned with role objectives.
  • Adhere to GDPR and security policies for data handling.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in Cloud technologies, including some Azure knowledge, Linux, MS SCCM, and MS Exchange. Experience in support environments and on-premise cloud services is essential. Certifications like MCSA or VCP are desirable.

  • MCSA: Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or above
