Job summary

Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a full-time Clinical Team Administrator/Receptionist to join the North Durham Early Intervention in Psychosis Team based in Chester Le Street, Durham. The role involves greeting service users, handling calls, managing records, and supporting post and deliveries.

Applicants should have previous reception/clerical experience, customer service skills, and be prepared to work toward Level 3 in Business and Administration.

Qualifications

  • BTEC Diploma/Level 2 qualification or equivalent, with willingness to work towards Level 3.
  • Level 2 literacy and numeracy or O Level/GCSE equivalents (Maths/English).
  • Experience in data entry and general office duties.

Responsibilities

  • Greet service users on arrival and manage telephone calls.
  • Maintain records and assist with post/deliveries and related duties.
  • Use electronic systems with confidentiality and accuracy.

Clinical Team Administrator/Receptionist

We are looking to recruit a full time (37.5 hours) Clinical Team Administrator /Receptionist to join the North Durham Early Intervention in Psychosis Team based in Chester Le Street, Durham on a permanent basis.

You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.

Main duties of the job

The reception is a dynamic work environment and as a Clinical Team Administrator / Receptionist you will have multiple responsibilities including greeting service users on arrival, managing phone calls, managing records, ordering responsibilities, supporting with post/deliveries responsibilities, as well as utilising electronic systems. You must be calm, reassuring and always treat people with respect, dignity and kindness in this varied environment and display impeccable customer service skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive service. Previous Reception / Clerical experience and customer service is essential

  • Knowledge of office systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of receiving visitors/telephone callers and taking accurate messages.
