Overview

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust invites an experienced occupational therapist to lead the Stroke Occupational Therapy Team at the Denmark Hill site. The clinical lead role combines expert clinical input, teaching, service and staff development, team leadership and management.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist leadership within the stroke service, ensuring high quality, evidence‑based practice.
  • Manage the clinical team, including clinical governance, capacity and demand planning, and administrative tasks.
  • Develop and deliver clinical and teaching skills, and support staff development and training.
  • Engage across services and disciplines to coordinate an integrated, patient‑centred service.
  • Represent the Trust nationally through specialist interest groups, conferences, study days and research opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Experienced occupational therapist with expert knowledge of managing stroke patients.
  • Demonstrated team management and leadership skills, with the ability to plan and develop services.
  • Commitment to flexibility, including weekend working as required.
