Healthcare Clinical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager for a well-established nursing home in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Salary £47,840 - £57,408 per annum, hours 40 – 48 per week.

You will support the Home Manager, provide clinical leadership, ensure governance and compliance, mentor staff, and maintain high standards of care in a person-centred environment.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration (RGN/RMN) and current pin.
• Experience in senior nursing or clinical leadership.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager in day-to-day service operations.
• Provide clinical leadership and ensure high-quality care.
• Monitor compliance with CQC standards and policies.
• Mentor and develop nursing and care staff.
• Conduct audits, care plan reviews, and med checks.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and families.

Supporting the Home Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care while maintaining the highest standards of clinical governance and compliance.

As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will lead by example on the floor, providing guidance, mentorship, and clinical oversight to the nursing and care teams. You will contribute to creating a supportive, collaborative environment where both residents and staff can thrive.

Clinical Deputy Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service
• Provide strong clinical leadership and ensure high-quality care delivery
• Monitor and maintain compliance with CQC standards and internal policies
• Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing and care staff
• Conduct audits, care plan reviews, and medication management checks
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
• Act as a role model, promoting best practice and continuous improvement

Clinical Deputy Manager Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
• Good IT skills and accurate record-keeping
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
