Overview

Silverleigh Care Home in Exeter is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Clinical Deputy Manager to step into a leadership role where you can make a genuine difference every single day. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on responsibility, inspires others through example, and is motivated by ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents. You will work alongside our Home Manager, be an integral part of the leadership team, and take full responsibility for the home when the Home Manager is off duty.

You will support and mentor a dedicated care team, embedding a culture of kindness, respect, and continuous improvement. You will ensure every resident’s care plan is tailored to their needs and that their health, safety, and wellbeing are always prioritised. You will build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, supporting them with sensitivity and reassurance. You will work closely with external professionals to ensure joined-up care, and step confidently into the Home Manager’s role when needed, leading the home with professionalism and integrity.

What We’re Looking For

What We Offer
  • £50,000 - £55,000 per year, dependent on experience
  • 40 hours per week, including supernumerary hours
  • Monday to Friday, 9.00 – 17.00, with flexibility to meet the needs of the home
  • Weekend leadership cover, typically every other weekend
  • Paid DBS, pension scheme, free onsite parking, and uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata for a full-time contract)

As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will be at the heart of delivering and driving exceptional clinical standards across the home. You will support and mentor the care team, ensure high-quality care is delivered, and help maintain a safe, respectful, and thriving environment for residents and staff.
