Fabric Maintenance Engineer – Days only, Knightsbridge, London

Salary: £42,000 per annum

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, the role involves overseeing maintenance, repair and enhancement of the building fabric across the estate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure walls, ceilings, doors, windows and finishes are safe, compliant and maintained to the highest standards.
• Lead, develop and coach the building fabric maintenance team.
• Champion best practice across planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring operational efficiency, high-quality workmanship and a safe environment.
• Contribute to asset management planning and capital investment decisions.
• Conduct site inspections and defect management.
• Maintain H&S and regulatory compliance, budget oversight, RAMS management and contractor performance.

Qualifications

• Proactive and detail‑oriented leader with demonstrable experience in building fabric maintenance management.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations and quality standards.
• HNC/HND or a degree in a related discipline.
