Job summary

7IM is seeking a Team Lead for Client Static Data in Greater London. You will lead the Client Static Data team, ensuring accurate and timely data maintenance across systems, while upholding risk controls and regulatory compliance.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage workloads and SLAs, and collaborate with Compliance, Risk and Operations to deliver high-quality service for clients and advisers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading or supervising teams within financial services operations
• Strong experience in Client Onboarding, Client Static Data or Account Administration functions
• Thorough understanding of onboarding lifecycle for Personal and Non-Personal clients including trusts, companies and partnerships
• Strong knowledge of KYC, AML, CDD and Enhanced Due Diligence requirements
• Experience reviewing complex client structures and supporting documentation
• Experience managing operational workflows and service level targets
• Experience handling complex client data and account maintenance activities
• Understanding of risk, governance and regulatory requirements in a regulated financial services environment
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships and escalations

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the Client Static Data team
• Set clear objectives and performance expectations
• Conduct regular one-to-ones, coaching sessions and performance reviews
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
• Ensure appropriate resource planning and workload management
• Oversee daily workflow management and prioritisation of tasks
• Ensure all client static data updates are processed accurately within SLAs
• Act as escalation point for complex cases and operational issues
• Monitor team productivity, quality and service delivery
• Ensure effective management of queues and backlogs
• Maintain robust operational controls to protect client and business data
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, GDPR and internal policies
• Review errors and incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Support internal and external audits
• Escalate material risks and control issues appropriately
• Build relationships across Operations, Compliance, Risk, Technology and client-facing teams
• Serve as subject matter expert for Client Static Data processes
• Support advisers and internal stakeholders with complex queries
• Communicate operational changes and improvements effectively
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation and STP
• Lead process improvement initiatives and maintain procedural documentation
• Support testing and implementation of new systems
• Use MI and data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
