Job summary

Sterling Williams LTD in London is seeking a Team Leader to head the Client Static Data team. You will ensure accurate maintenance of client, adviser and account data across systems, delivering high-quality service while upholding risk controls.

The role focuses on leading, developing and coaching the team, managing workloads, and ensuring timely data updates in a regulated financial services environment. Hybrid working arrangements are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading or supervising teams within financial services operations.
• Strong experience in Client Onboarding, Client Static Data or Account Administration functions.
• Understanding onboarding lifecycle for diverse client types and structures.
• Knowledge of KYC, AML, CDD and Enhanced Due Diligence requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the Client Static Data team.
• Set objectives, monitor performance and conduct reviews.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.
• Oversee daily workflow and SLAs for client static data updates.
• Act as escalation point for complex cases and maintain data quality.
• Ensure compliance with FCA, GDPR and internal policies.
• Review errors, identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Support audits and manage governance of data processes.
