Job summary

7IM is seeking a diligent Client Reporting & Performance Analyst to support the accurate and timely delivery of client, regulatory and performance reporting. You will validate data, resolve reporting queries, and contribute to improvements in systems, controls and processes across the team.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, complete and high-quality outputs under deadline pressure.
• Good numerical and analytical skills, with confidence investigating data issues and explaining findings clearly.
• Confident Excel user, with experience working with data, reconciliations, templates or reports.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarise issues, updates and recommendations concisely.
• Organised and delivery-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring reporting deadlines.
• Collaborative approach with the confidence to work across teams, ask good questions and follow issues through to conclusion.
• A proactive mindset, with curiosity about how processes work and a willingness to identify improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end delivery of recurring client and regulatory reporting cycles, including preparation, data validation, testing, production oversight, despatch and archiving.
• Coordinate reporting activity against agreed plans and SLAs, working with internal teams and external providers to resolve issues and keep delivery on track.
• Help investigate reporting exceptions, data issues and enhancement requests, documenting findings clearly and escalating where needed.
• Maintain daily BAU reporting controls, including MiFID II-related reporting activity, report settings, valuation data, transaction information, costs and charges.
• Support tax reporting processes, including data management, processing checks, production coordination and timely resolution of related queries.
• Provide accurate, professional and client-focused responses to reporting queries from internal stakeholders and, where applicable, external parties.
• Investigate and resolve performance measurement queries, explaining data, calculation logic and reporting outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
• Build knowledge of performance measurement concepts, including time-weighted returns, benchmarks, flows, gain/loss reporting and attribution principles.
