Job summary

Ganymede Solutions in Coventry is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor - Water to support a major UK water sector investment programme. You will provide commercial and contractual management across a portfolio of projects, interfacing with delivery teams and stakeholders.

The role requires NEC3/NEC4 experience, strong cost management, forecasting and reporting, and the ability to manage change, valuations and final accounts within a client-side environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts and major infrastructure projects.
• Strong cost management, forecasting and reporting experience.
• Experience managing change and compensation events.
• Knowledge of procurement, valuations and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Commercial and contractual management of projects under NEC3 and NEC4.
• Cost control, forecasting and budget management.
• Assessment of contractor applications and payment valuations.
• Work closely with Project Managers and delivery teams.
• Management and negotiation of compensation events and project change.
• Reviewing Defined Cost and supporting commercial decision making.
• Procurement and tender evaluation.
• Identifying and managing commercial and contractual risk.
• Maintaining accurate commercial records and reporting.
• Supporting the resolution of contractual issues and claims.
• Managing projects through to final account.
• Building relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
• Mentoring junior commercial team members.
