Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a major UK water sector programme. Based in Coventry, you will manage commercial and contractual aspects across NEC3/NEC4 contracts, delivering cost control, forecasting and risk management in a busy, project-driven environment.

You will work closely with delivery teams, Project Managers and contractors to ensure value-for-money, timely valuations and proper change control, with hybrid work and three days per week

Qualifications

• Strong NEC3 and/or NEC4 contract experience.
• Experience working across major infrastructure or capital delivery projects.
• Strong cost management, forecasting and commercial reporting experience.
• Experience managing change and compensation events.
• Good understanding of procurement, valuations and final accounts.
• Experience within Water, Utilities, Civil Engineering, Rail or another infrastructure environment.
• Previous client-side experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• A degree or equivalent qualification within Quantity Surveying or a related commercial discipline.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and contractual management across a portfolio of projects.
• Support delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage compensation events and project change.
• Review Defined Cost and support commercial decision making.
• Procurement and tender evaluation.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting.
• Support and mentor junior commercial team members.
• Assist in final accounts and close-out processes.
