Client Profile:

An award-winning Field Marketing agency providing a full range of services for Retail Marketing requirements.

Home Based with weekly trips to the head office.

Focus sectors include Consumer Electronics, Telecoms, Entertainment, Gaming—selling audits, maintenance, and installation services.

Conditions of Role:

Attend client meetings across the UK, with potential overnight stays.

Full UK driving license.

Minimum 3 years management experience in head office relationships, dealing with events (promotions), and joint business planning in B2B sales sectors such as FMCG, Field Marketing, Merchandising, POP/POS, or other service industries.

Proven success in growing profitable sales.

Job Summary:

Manage a portfolio of clients daily, identifying and selling relevant services to meet their needs and objectives.

Create and execute new business strategies to acquire and retain clients.

Build and maintain excellent client relationships.

Achieve revenue and profit targets.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Operational Effectiveness: Own client accounts, deliver services, generate new business, respond to tenders, maintain CRM data, communicate with clients and internal teams, and manage invoicing and debt.
  • People & Performance: Develop client relationships, implement contact strategies, collaborate with internal departments, ensure high standards of communication, and represent the company professionally.
  • Business & Operational Strategy: Develop annual business plans, forecast revenue, provide sector updates, and contribute to marketing campaigns.
  • Behaviours: Drive results, deliver excellent customer service, communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and plan efficiently.
  • Skills: Sales negotiation, commercial acumen, communication, relationship building, networking, organization, market insight, IT proficiency, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Sage CRM.
