Job Overview

The opportunity could be right for you. The business is a chilled food processing company seeking someone to manage daily interactions and logistics with key customers to ensure outstanding service and delivery. Responsibilities include:

1. Build strong relationships with customers and manage orders and inquiries.
2. Communicate customer developments to internal stakeholders.
3. Capture and process customer orders and contracts.
4. Manage export contracts and documentation.
5. Align planning across the business and execute reconciliations.
6. Coordinate with customers and hauliers for collections and deliveries.
7. Process customer invoicing.
8. Handle customer queries and complaints.
9. Provide management reports as needed.
10. Support the wider supply chain team with operational and strategic tasks.

We need a people person who enjoys working closely with colleagues in sales, marketing, finance, production, and supply chain.

This is a profitable business with exciting growth plans. The previous role holder was promoted within two years.

Requirements

Experience in a customer-focused logistics role within manufacturing, food, or FMCG sectors. Salary circa £35-40k plus benefits.

This is a home-based role with occasional travel (2-5 days per quarter).
