Job summary

London Vet Specialists in London is seeking a diligent Client Care Assistant to join our state-of-the-art veterinary referral hospital in Hammersmith. You will deliver outstanding client service as part of the Client Care Team, supporting patients and their owners throughout the hospital journey.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with responsibilities including arranging appointments, handling payments and insurance claims, and liaising with referring practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma in customer services or BVRA certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in veterinary settings.
• Previous experience in veterinary hospital or high-end customer service is essential.

Responsibilities

• Arrange referral appointments for routine, urgent, and emergency care.
• Manage client experience throughout pet’s hospital journey.
• Process payments and insurance claims.
• Liaise with referring practices, insurance companies and pet owners.
• Maintain accurate digital records across platforms.
• Support clients through emotional challenges of their pet’s care.
• Transcribe information accurately with SOPs.
• Process insurance claims for direct payment and on behalf of clients.
