  • You are able to provide guidance by keeping yourself fully up-to-speed with the practice services and any additional services available.

  • You can deal with everything that is thrown at you, from comforting a client who has had some bad news about their pet or sharing in the joy of a new puppy's first visit to the vet.

Typical Day

What your typical day will look like Your focus will be to deliver outstanding service to our clients and ensure their pets receive the very best care, acting as a vital link between our clients and the clinical team. Building strong, positive relationships with clients, their pets, and the wider practice team will be key to your success. You'll be joining a supportive team of 3 CCAs, 4 experienced RVNs, 1 VCA and 5 vets. As the first point of contact, you will provide a warm welcome alongside professional support, guidance, and reassurance. You'll confidently manage payments, book future appointments through our online system, and help keep the daily operations of the practice running smoothly. This is an admin‑heavy role, so strong computer skills and previous experience in an office or administrative environment would be highly beneficial. Your excellent client care during every visit will ensure clients leave feeling valued, supported, and confident in the care their pets receive. Familiarity with social media is a bonus, as is the emotional resilience needed to support clients through both the joyful and more challenging moments of pet ownership.

Working Hours and Schedule

This is a full time role working 30 to 38 hours per week across 3 or 4 days, including 1 in 4 Saturday shifts. We are looking for someone who can be flexible with their hours as you will be required to work early and late shifts between 8:30am to 7:30pm during the week.
