Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Hygiene Operative at Grange Park, Northampton to join our warehouse team. This full-time, permanent role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the site, with shifts including 18:00-06:00 (4 on-4 off) or 20:00-05:30 (Mon-Fri).

The position offers a pension, 20 days leave, and employee discounts via Happy Up. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, operate floor scrubbers and vacuums, and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks across the warehouse, including floors and offices.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene per GXO policies.
• Empty bins and manage waste, including recycling where applicable.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the relevant team.

GXO People Campus is currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative to join our warehouse team at Grange Park, Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a fast-paced operation, helping to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and hygiene across the site.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 42 hours per week, offering a choice of two shift patterns: 4 on- 4 off: 18:00 - 06:00 or Monday to Friday: 20:00 - 05:30

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks across the warehouse, including floors, work areas, offices and communal spaces
• Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely, such as floor scrubbers, sweepers and vacuum cleaners
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in line with all GXO Health & Safety policies
• Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly, including recycling where required
• Report any maintenance, cleaning or safety concerns to the relevant team
