Job summary

GXO Logistics in Sherburn in Elmet is recruiting Warehouse Operatives for a full‑time, permanent role on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (06:00 – 18:00). You will work at our equipment management site, supporting recycling and reuse for a major supermarket retailer.

You’ll earn an hourly rate of £12.75, receive 22 days of holiday, a workplace pension, and access to health services, life assurance, and GXO University training to develop your career.

Qualifications

• Must have a flexible, positive attitude and be willing to learn new tasks.
• No prior warehousing experience required as full training will be provided.
• Comfort with repetitive work and physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Load empty trays and buckets onto the wash machine for cleaning.
• Unload cleaned trays, stack and wrap for collection.
• Keep work areas clean and hazard-free.
• Carry out other warehouse duties as required by operations.

Here at GXO Logistics,we are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Sherburn in Elmet. Working at our equipment management site, where it's all about recycling & reuse, for one of the largest supermarket retailers in the UK.

You’ll be working on a full‑time, permanent basis, 4 on 4 off shift pattern, covering the hours of 06:00 - 18:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Load empty trays and buckets onto the wash machine ready for cleaning
• Unload clean trays from the wash machine, stack away and wrap ready for collection
• Ensure a hazard-free zone by guaranteeing that all work areas are kept clean and tidy
• Other warehouse duties depending on operations needs
