Job summary

PSS group are a nationwide Soft Facilities Services provider, who work with some of the biggest names in retail, entertainment, facilities management and more. PSS group are recruiting a Cleaning Operative for the Market Place site in Burgess Hill.

The role involves on-site cleaning to required standards, with Health and Safety guidelines, and training provided. Overtime and weekend work may be required; uniform is provided and benefits include Online GP Service, Employee Assistance Program,

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but full training provided.
• Good self-presentation (uniform provided).
• Willingness to learn and be flexible with shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Clean specific areas of the site according to schedule and specification as instructed by Manager / Supervisor.
• Ensure cleaning cupboards are tidy and stocked.
• Report hazards or problems to the Manager / Supervisor.
• Provide clear handovers to colleagues.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.

Location – Market Place, Burgess Hill, RH15 9NP

Salary - £12.71 per hour

Working Pattern

Tuesday 0600-1100

Thursday 0600-1100

Friday 0600-1300

Cleaning Operative Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver on-site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines
• Clean specific areas of the site according to the schedule and specification as instructed by Manager / Supervisor
• Ensure cleaning cupboards are always kept tidy and stocked.
• Report any identified hazards or problems to the Manager / Supervisor
• Provide clear and detailed handovers to your work colleagues
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly
