Job summary

PSS Group is hiring a Cleaning Operative for Festival Leisure Park, Basildon. You will perform on-site cleaning to specified standards in line with Health and Safety guidelines, following schedules and using provided equipment.

Overtime is available to cover holidays and sickness, with a focus on reliability, flexibility, and professional conduct. The role is based at the Basildon site with uniform provided and training supplied.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Clean specific areas of the site according to the schedule and specification as instructed by Manager / Supervisor.
• Ensure cleaning cupboards are always kept tidy and stocked.
• Report any identified hazards or problems to the Manager / Supervisor.
• Provide clear and detailed handovers to your work colleagues.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.

• Festival Leisure Park, Basildon - External shopping centre
• Thursday 13-17, Friday 13-17, Saturday 13-20, Sunday 07-12
• 20 Hours in total per week
• overtime available for covering site holidays/sickness
• £13.45 per hour

Cleaning Operative Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver on-site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines
• Clean specific areas of the site according to the schedule and specification as instructed by Manager / Supervisor
• Ensure cleaning cupboards are always kept tidy and stocked.
• Report any identified hazards or problems to the Manager / Supervisor
• Provide clear and detailed handovers to your work colleagues
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience preferred but full training provided
